The American Bar Association Section of Litigation Children’s Rights Litigation Committee (CRLC) was formed as the Task Force on Children by then Section Chair Louise LaMothe in 1992 in order to "inspire and assist lawyers to undertake the direct pro bono representation of children by supporting and encouraging the development or improvement of children’s law programs." Today, the CRLC is an active and vibrant committee consisting of several hundred members. A part-time staff person and a core Working Group of appointed members, including Child Advocates' Executive Director Frank Cervone and Managing Attorney Marguerite Gualtieri assist the Committee in its mission to:
Recruit pro bono lawyers for children;
Train children’s litigators; and
Assist in the creation and expansion of children’s law programs.

Youth United for Change Announces New Chapter! YUC OSY Project Description.docx Youth United for Change has started a new chapter for out of school youth and students in accelerated, alternative, re-engagement, and disciplinary placements. Youth participants will conduct an action research project where they will be trained in research methods, conduct research on out of school youth, and then take action!
